Shocked By Business Practices ....
In my oppinion, The business practices were very unprofessional. After they took my money, which they insisted on up front.( 1st clue). The 1st phone call to hire them I was ask to bring 2 copies of document, which i provided. When I recieved a phone call @ 7:00 am the morning of the last day the document could be served to ask me if it could be left another person i was surprised, i said no it has to be delivered to the person who is named on the document. So when later that day when I called Maritime Bialiffs office, and asked why I recieved that phone call, as directions for service were with documents and why the first attempt to serve document is happening on the last day it can be servered ,and has not been attempted previously. I was givena very rude attitude by theircommissioner of SurpremeCourt of Nova Scotia, ( whom is also the secratary). Then i recieve aphone call to come pick up the affidavit, which I was told would be filed by the bailiff after job was completed.Inow had to file myself. When I went to pick this document up I ask where is Exhibit "A" that was attached to affidavit. They said they only had 1 copy and it was given to person served. I said no i gave you 2 copies and1 is to be attched to this to be filed in the courts. They argued they only had one copy and if 2 were in envelope they delivered 2 to person being served. The very unproffessional attidue along with the lack of knowledge required for this job was surprising to say the least. So under no circumstances would i recomend this business.
